Ingredients
Smash Burger Tacos
1 lb ground beef (80/20 works best)
6 gluten-free corn tortillas
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup dill pickle slices
Gluten-Free Burger Sauce
1/3 cup mayonnaise (gluten-free)
2 tbsp ketchup (gluten-free)
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp pickle relish
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Directions
- Make the sauce:
In a small bowl, mix all burger sauce ingredients. Set aside. - Heat the skillet:
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. - Smash the burgers:
Place a tortilla on the skillet. Add a small ball of ground beef directly on top and smash it flat with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. - Cook:
Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is crispy. Flip, add shredded cheese, and cook another 1–2 minutes until melted. - Assemble:
Remove from heat and top with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickles, and burger sauce. - Serve:
