Ingredients
Smash Burger Tacos

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 works best)

  • 6 gluten-free corn tortillas

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced

  • 1/4 cup diced red onion

  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices

  • Gluten-Free Burger Sauce

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (gluten-free)

  • 2 tbsp ketchup (gluten-free)

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tsp pickle relish

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Directions

  • Make the sauce:
    In a small bowl, mix all burger sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  • Heat the skillet:
    Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  • Smash the burgers:
    Place a tortilla on the skillet. Add a small ball of ground beef directly on top and smash it flat with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Cook:
    Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is crispy. Flip, add shredded cheese, and cook another 1–2 minutes until melted.
  • Assemble:
    Remove from heat and top with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickles, and burger sauce.
  • Serve:
    Fold and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
