¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

¾ cup gluten-free all-purpose flour (with xanthan gum)
½ cup brown sugar

½ cup cold butter, cubed (or dairy-free butter)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and vanilla.
- Spread apple mixture evenly in the baking dish.
